CLIK-Trip and CLIK-Gallery PHOTO COMPETITION

The Competition

· The clik-trip and clik-gallery photo competition is open to everyone, amateur or professionalfrom anywhere in the world.

· There are NO themes.

· ALLphotos are printed and exhbited at the CLIK Gallery, Grenoble during the month of July 2024

· The public vote for their favouritephotos.

· Photos are also sent to an expert panel of judges who have 10% of the final vote

· The 20 winning photosfrom the public and jury vote are printed and framed 40 x 60 cm and exhibited for a further 30 days.

· Your photo exhibited during a month-long exhibition in the Gallery CLIK, Grenoble

· Your photo exhibited for one month as part of the winner’s exhibition

How it works

· Submissions are open until midnight on 15th June 2024

· ALL photos submitted to the competition are printed 15 x 20 cm and exhibited in the CLIK Gallery, a prestigious photography gallery and clik-trip headquarters on one of the main arteries in central Grenoble, France.

· The photos will be exhibited from 2nd– 31st July. During this time, visitors will be able to vote for their top photos from all the submissions. Voting is only possible in person in the gallery.

· All photos are anonymous and presented in the order in which they were submitted.

· The winners will receive fantastic prizes presented during the party organised for the winner’s exhibition.

· The opening of the competition exhibition will take place on Friday at the CLIK Gallery Grenoble and enjoy complimentary drinks and finger food. All participants receive an invitation to attend.

· Your submission fee covers the printing of the photos, gallery rental, the opening party and prizegiving plus all other costs of organization.

· All participants may keep their ~15 x 21 cm print (postage can be arranged to overseas entries).

Prizes

· ALL photos will feature in a 4 week exhibition at the CLIK Gallery, 5 Boulevard Gambetta in Grenoble.

· The winning 20 photos will be printed 40 x 60 cm and exhibited in the winner’s exhibition in the CLIK Gallery in September 2024.

· The top amateur will receive a ~50 x 75cm aluminium dibond photo art print donated by Atelier Photo 38 (worth 150€)

· The runner up of the jury’s prize for the amateur section will receive a ~40 x 60 cm alu dibond photo art print (donated by Atelier Photo 38 worth 100€)

· VEO 3T 235CBP travel tripod by Vanguard (value €315)

· Two nights for four people in Tower Residences, a luxury apartment overlooking Tower Bridge and Tower of London in London, UK.

Conditions

· The closing date for entries is midnight on 25/06/2023.

· Make sure your photos are correctly titled, otherwise, they will not be accepted. Titles must be of maximum 30 characters. Example: Sunset over Mont Blanc, France. No underscores or hyphens to separate words in your title.

· Pay the entry fee is 15€ per photo. You can purchase a bundle of 5 entries for a discounted price of 50€.

· Students and customers who have already booked a photo experience on clik-trip customers can purchase a bundle of 5 entries for a discounted price of 40€.

· Photos must be submitted as JPG in sRGB,

· Use the highest resolution possible (300dpi) for the best results in print.

· All photos must be submitted in the following formats: 2:3, 3:4, 1:1 or 1:3.

· The minimum size of images is 2000 pixels wide (long edge),

· Photos will only be accepted with

· Photoswill be offered for sale unless you opt out. If your photo is sold, you will receive 50% from the sale.

· If there’s a person who is clearly identifiable in your photo, you can submit it for exhibition and it is eligible for the prizes. However, a model release is required in order to offer it for sale.

· No watermarks or copyright signs may be visible on your submitted photos.

· You always keep the rights to your photo. We will not use your work for commercial purposes outside of clik-trip competitionrelated events.

· Your prints are yours to keep after the exhibition (unless they're sold at the gallery; then you will receive royalty fees).

· You can collect your small photos from the CLIK Gallery in Grenoble or you can send us a pre-stamped envelope and we will return them to you.

· By taking part in the competition you grant clik-trip and the CLIK gallery an irrevocable, general and unlimited right to use the uploaded photo(s) for its marketing and PR work related to the clik-trip photo competition

·  By uploading a photo, you must have created the photo, hold all rights to the photo (specifically copyrights) and confirm that the photo is free from third-party rights.

· You will be asked to agree to the full terms and conditions of the photo competition when making your submission.

clik-trip is a specialised photography platform connecting you to local photographers offering photo tours and workshops, anywhere in the world. It was founded in 2019, by photojournalist and photo tour leader, Suzanne Porter.
